On the occasion of the Milan Design Week, Harmont & Blaine presents a new charity project in supportof the Italian non-profit organization Salva la Zampa, which is committed to rescue and protect abandoned dogs. On Thursday, 20 April, the Harmont & Blaine boutique in Corso Matteotti will host the “Creative Upcycling” event with the participation of artist Linea Daria, who has been invited to personalize a special selection of unisex clothes and accessories from past seasons. The recycled garments will discover a new life through the playful and witty slogans of one of the most spirited artistes of the moment. Along with the real-time customization of the dachshund-emblazoned shirts, t-shirts, caps, sneakers and junior pieces, Linea Daria has also offered a series of her exclusive artworks for a silent auction during the event. After presenting her blurbs on the shop windows and inside the Harmont & Blaine flagship store - for the launch of the Desert Oasis summer wardrobe -, Linea Daria collaborates on a new meaningful initiative that combines the company’s sustainable vision, via circular economy and the reuse of existing products, with its continuous commitment to support the environment and people in need. The “Creative Upcycling” styles reinvented by Linea Daria will be available for purchase at a symbolic price. All proceeds raised during the event, including the auction offers, will be entirely devolved to sustain the mission of the Salva la Zampa association.
